Hey everyone! Not sure if anyone is around that still follows me, and this news is a little old, but I’ve just finished my first couple of illustrations for Magic: The Gathering (A pretty popular trading card game, it seems), so I’m now going to be a legit artist for them. Really pumped about it, but it’s intimidating working alongside some of those guys.
Working on a book cover now as well, and once that’s finished I’ll be able to get back to some personal work and some Phantom Gannon.

This is probably one of the most influential illustrations of my youth. Had a poster of it hanging up in my room for the longest time.

When ID commissioned him for this painting in 1993, he had to lower his rate to meet their budget. As an alternative, they offered him a share of the profits that DOOM made. Punchatz decided to stick with his lowered rate.
